My name is Judy, owner and operator of Move Your Doggie. My wonderful team and I offer dog walking and pet sitting services in Ajax, Whitby, and Oshawa in Durham Region. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, a Diploma in Law and Security Administration and I am Pet First-Aid and CPR certified by Saint John Ambulance. If they could talk, my Mini Dachshund, Sophie, and my cats Oscar and Emma would tell you that I have a passion for pets and will take much joy in spoiling yours with lots of love, attention and interactive play during our walks and visits. I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s).

Sarah

Adventurous, Engaging, Responsible

My name is Sarah, and I have a passion for animals of all shapes, sizes and species! My boyfriend and I are the parents of two crazy and very spoiled kitties, who have a strange love of cupcakes. Whenever I go anywhere, animals are drawn to me, but that’s never an issue! I am comfortable and confident with any dog, regardless of the size or temperament. I quickly learn how to instantly connect and bond with your pets by building trust, as I want to ensure that I give them the best care possible.

I am also certified with St. John Ambulance for Pet First-Aid and CPR. I am very excited and looking forward to going on adventures with your pets!

Nicole

Nicole is a super cool single mom rocking the parenting game with her awesome 10-year-old son! When she’s not busy being a superhero mom, you’ll find her cheering on her kiddo at basketball practices and games – she’s the ultimate #1 fan! With a background in IT company operations and running her own business in the beauty industry, Nicole’s got serious skills and a go-getter attitude. But wait, there’s more – she’s also a total pet lover! She used to have a cute bunny named Batman and a lovable Yorkie named Mr. Big – her fur babies were the best!

Alice

Energetic, Trustworthy, Patient

I’m Alice and I love animals of all kinds! My love for animals started as a child, always surrounded by dogs and cats. My interest in dog- walking started when I lived in Spain where I owned a vegetarian cafe. In my free time I walked and boarded numerous dogs of all sizes, from Yorkies to Mastiffs and Pitbulls. I enjoy working with dogs to improve behaviour through positive reinforcement, lots of exercise and playtime. My favourite part   of the job is seeing dogs with behavior issues learn to trust me and improve over time! I    currently own an American Bulldog named Phoenix, who is learning how to socialize with people and other animals after having had some negative experiences in the past.

I also have experience with small pets and reptiles as I also have a cat, turtles and a snake. These many opportunities I’ve had to work with different pets has taught me the importance of focusing on each animals’ individual needs and figuring out the best way to help them to have a positive experience. I am full of energy and excited to meet you and your pet!

Mary

Caring, Loyal, Trustworthy

Hello, my name is Mary. I love dogs and enjoy spending time with them. Ever since my dog passed away I began to miss being around dogs. I enjoy taking dogs on walks and I was missing it. I also have experience in the Veterinary medicine field as I graduated as a Veterinary Assistant in 2010, and I worked at an animal hospital for a few years.

I love all animals and have experience working with cats, dogs and horses. I am very happy to spend my day with your pets.

Marissa

Hello, my name is Marissa. Growing up, I have always had a love for animals and have many of my own. Shown in my picture is my late dog, Max. He was an Australian Blue Heeler/Jack Russell Terrier who lived 16 amazing years! I also have 4 cats – Emmie, Skye, Sophie and Kramer. In addition to experience in my personal life, I have also held a Kennel Assistant position at a veterinary clinic and am a weekly volunteer at a local cat adoption centre. Through the centre, I have fostered many cats and recently helped a pregnant mama birth 7 baby kittens! As for my educational background, I completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Health Sciences and minoring in Psychology at the University of Western Ontario.

Following my BA, I completed a post-graduate certificate in Exercise Physiology at Niagara College, where I played women’s volleyball. Now, I am back in Durham Region and eager to care for your fur babies!

Dog walker

Lucas

Hello there! My name is Lucas. I have grown up around animals all my life. I had a family cat for 18 years. And I lived in Iqaluit, Nunavut for a few years where I volunteered at the Humane Society as a dogwalker. It was such a great way to meet new pups, and stay active outdoors. I am very passionate about fitness and love incorporating that with my love for animals. Happy to go for longer strolls if needed, in any weather! I have spent most of my life in Durham region and can’t wait to meet all of your lovely pets! Am comfortable with all types and sizes of dog.

Sam

Hi My name is Sam. I truly love spending my time with animals, specifically dogs and cats. I feel a combination of happiness, comfort and calm when I am around them. I grew up in a family with multiple dogs and cats, so they are seen as more family members rather than pets to me. Currently I work full time as a Project Coordinator but love spending time with dogs as an outlet to my busy work life. Shown in my picture is my dog Zara, she is a mixed breed whippet/lab and a rescue from St.Lucia. We like to spend our weekends discovering and exploring the many different trails in Durham Region.

She has experienced training for her pets in home and at a training facility and participated in showing Champion Sheep dogs.
Just recently she became a pet grandma to 2 Ragdoll cats Alfie and Ellie, who she loves to spoil.

GPS Tracking for Dog Walking

Providing peace of mind, trust, and security, we are open and transparent. Our pet sitting software is GPS capable and time-stamped so that you know when your walker arrives and leaves. You will also be able to see the route that your walker walked with your dog. We want you to be confident that we are reliable and trustworthy, and have shown up for and completed our visits.
