Outgoing, Fun, Loving
My name is Judy, owner and operator of Move Your Doggie. My wonderful team and I offer dog walking and pet sitting services in Ajax, Whitby, and Oshawa in Durham Region. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, a Diploma in Law and Security Administration and I am Pet First-Aid and CPR certified by Saint John Ambulance. With my education, knowledge, and many years of experience with all types of pets combined, I aim to deliver the most positive customer experience.
If they could talk, my Mini Dachshund, Sophie, and my cats Oscar and Emma would tell you that I have a passion for pets and will take much joy in spoiling yours with lots of love, attention and interactive play during our walks and visits. I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s).
Adventurous, Engaging, Responsible
My name is Sarah, and I have a passion for animals of all shapes, sizes and species! My boyfriend and I are the parents of two crazy and very spoiled kitties, who have a strange love of cupcakes. Whenever I go anywhere, animals are drawn to me, but that’s never an issue! I am comfortable and confident with any dog, regardless of the size or temperament. I quickly learn how to instantly connect and bond with your pets by building trust, as I want to ensure that I give them the best care possible.
I am also certified with St. John Ambulance for Pet First-Aid and CPR. I am very excited and looking forward to going on adventures with your pets!
Active, Funny, Caring
My name is Michelle, you’ll know me more as the behind-the-scenes member of Move Your Doggie. I am the office manager for Move Your Doggie. ⠀
I enjoy nature and being active with my family. Fourteen years ago my husband and I adopted our first baby, our fur baby Roxie, a brown-haired tabby. She is a kind sweet loving cat and has always been very good with our two daughters and fiercely protective too. ⠀⠀
I love working with Move Your Doggie as I feel so lucky to get to know all your wonderful pets. It’s such a privilege to be able to support the Move Your Doggie Team as they tend to your furry family member(s).
Energetic, Trustworthy, Patient
I’m Alice and I love animals of all kinds! My love for animals started as a child, always surrounded by dogs and cats. My interest in dog- walking started when I lived in Spain where I owned a vegetarian cafe. In my free time I walked and boarded numerous dogs of all sizes, from Yorkies to Mastiffs and Pitbulls. I enjoy working with dogs to improve behaviour through positive reinforcement, lots of exercise and playtime. My favourite part of the job is seeing dogs with behavior issues learn to trust me and improve over time! I currently own an American Bulldog named Phoenix, who is learning how to socialize with people and other animals after having had some negative experiences in the past.
I also have experience with small pets and reptiles as I also have a cat, turtles and a snake. These many opportunities I’ve had to work with different pets has taught me the importance of focusing on each animals’ individual needs and figuring out the best way to help them to have a positive experience. I am full of energy and excited to meet you and your pet!
Caring, Loyal, Trustworthy
Hello, my name is Mary. I love dogs and enjoy spending time with them. Ever since my dog passed away I began to miss being around dogs. I enjoy taking dogs on walks and I was missing it. I also have experience in the Veterinary medicine field as I graduated as a Veterinary Assistant in 2010, and I worked at an animal hospital for a few years.
I love all animals and have experience working with cats, dogs and horses. I am very happy to spend my day with your pets.
Hello, my name is Marissa. Growing up, I have always had a love for animals and have many of my own. Shown in my picture is my late dog, Max. He was an Australian Blue Heeler/Jack Russell Terrier who lived 16 amazing years! I also have 4 cats – Emmie, Skye, Sophie and Kramer. In addition to experience in my personal life, I have also held a Kennel Assistant position at a veterinary clinic and am a weekly volunteer at a local cat adoption centre. Through the centre, I have fostered many cats and recently helped a pregnant mama birth 7 baby kittens! As for my educational background, I completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Health Sciences and minoring in Psychology at the University of Western Ontario.
Following my BA, I completed a post-graduate certificate in Exercise Physiology at Niagara College, where I played women’s volleyball. Now, I am back in Durham Region and eager to care for your fur babies!
Hello, my name is Rose, and I am Pet First Aid and CPR certified. I have always been passionate about dogs my whole life. As a kid, I would go out of my way to pet and play with as many of the neighbours’ dogs as possible. Ever since I brought home my own dog, Shadow, I have learned so much more about myself and type of relationship I could build with her. She has taught me patience and given me a fulfillment in life that I have never felt before. I would love to be able to give your pet all the affection and care they deserve, as I would with my own dog.
I graduated from McMaster University with a degree in Sociology and Business Studies, but I am now back in school studying rehabilitation. I aspire to be able to work with and care for pets and people.
Hi My name is Sam. I truly love spending my time with animals, specifically dogs and cats. I feel a combination of happiness, comfort and calm when I am around them. I grew up in a family with multiple dogs and cats, so they are seen as more family members rather than pets to me. Currently I work full time as a Project Coordinator but love spending time with dogs as an outlet to my busy work life. Shown in my picture is my dog Zara, she is a mixed breed whippet/lab and a rescue from St.Lucia. We like to spend our weekends discovering and exploring the many different trails in Durham Region.
Loving, Compassionate, Kind
I grew up with multiple dogs and cats in our home for 20 years. I have had a Miniature Poodle, Standard Poddle, Golden Retriever, Shih Tzu, Sheep Dog, German Short Hair Pointer and 2 King Charles Cavaliers. Once out on my own I have never been without a dog, dogs and even cats. In the last two years I have renewed my love for horses and own a 2 year old Welsh Cob named Lola. Lola and I are learning together, she is like a 1200 pound dog who loves to have her belly rubbed. I have years of experience with puppies, senior dogs, kittens and senior cats as I have alway had one, two and even three at times. Walking, playing, cuddling, feeding, bathing, keeping company and training, I have done it all. I treat all fur babies as if they are my own, with so much love and kindness. I am Pet First Aid and CPR certified.
First and foremost, I am an animal lover. I have been living overseas for the past 15 years, and everywhere I go, I become involved with animal groups – in Cambodia I helped raise funds for a prosthetic foot for a young elephant, in Turkey I spearheaded a student group to catch, neuter, and release feral cats. I have rescued, fostered, and found homes for innumerable cats around the world. Now that I am back in Canada, I want to spend my time making sure that your pets are loved and cared for. Right now I live with my 14 year-old Cambodian cat, Sammy. I have recently completed the pet CPR program.
Genuine, Compassionate, Easygoing
Hey! My name is Valentina, but you can call me Tina. I’m an animal lover who has a cat of my own but grew up with multiple family dogs and cats. I love seeing dogs and their different personalities. I’m very patient, I always take it slow, no matter how “easy” any animal may be. I care deeply that animals are treated with justice and are well taken care of. I’m Pet First-Aid and CPR certified, and am trustworthy in taking care of your pet! So fun facts about me are I speak Spanish fluently, as I’m from Colombia. I enjoy reading books & listening to podcasts. So I’m your perfect girl for a pet sitter. I love to stay in. I’m excited to meet your furry friend!
